How to choose the right carpet for your home
If you want to keep your carpet tidy and neat, you need to know what the best carpet is.
“There’s a lot of information out there about carpet, and it can be hard to decide,” said Laura Bittman, a carpet designer in Houston, Texas.
She said the best way to know if a carpet is going to be a good fit is to use it for yourself.
A good carpet is a solid material, and the carpet you buy should last for years, Bittmiller said.
If you have a carpet with stains or stains on it, a rug that’s worn through and has lots of scuffs, you might want to choose something that’s not going to have that kind of wear.
Bittmizer recommends using a carpet stretcher to remove scuffs or stains from carpet, even if you only have a few feet of carpet to work with.
Bittman said carpet stretchers will work with all types of carpets.

You also might want a carpet that’s going to absorb moisture and keep the carpet tidy.
Carpets that absorb moisture will absorb odors and will make the carpet look cleaner.
The last piece of advice is to choose a color that will work well with your decor.
Paint your carpet black.
It will help keep the color from getting in the way of your home decor.
If you live in a humid climate, try to keep the water level down.
If the water’s coming out of the windows, use a sprayer.
If there are windows or other windows open, try using a spray cap to spray the carpet.
You’ll be surprised how effective these things are.
Do the math, but don’t worry too much about it.
You can still make your home a little cleaner by just adding a little extra water and putting some extra towels around the edges.
